Majesty

Majesty refers to glory (see glory) and greatness. This value is mostly associated with royalty and divinity because it implies greatness and power (see power) opposed to ordinary mortals.

In medieval tradition and in popular culture, the lion, the king of animals, is the symbol of majesty.

However, we can be majestuous without being a king, a queen or a god. A majestuous individual is a person who’s accomplishments, who’s presence and greatness commands respect and veneration.

One can also be majestuous by acting like a true king or queen, for example by being a good leader for a project or in a company.

Majesty is also present in beauty (see beauty), a beauty that is so impressive that people worship is like a divinity.
